I Understand the Book Contest Rules Below

I understand this a contest for one youth to have their 15,000 to 30,000 word book published with the consultation support by MichelleHardy.org (The Michelle Hardy Organization Inc, a 501(c)3 nonprofit Organization. I understand that by submitting my initial outline, does not guarantee my selection as the contest winner for the Youth Book Publishing Contest. I understand that if I am selected as the winner of the Youth Book Publishing Contest based on my outline, I will be provided professional editing services by a third party selected by MichelleHardy.org and in addition I understand the third party editor will make book cover recommendations. I understand the book cover will be printed in color and the internal pages will be printed in black and white only, including pictures, illustrations and diagrams. I understand the $500 listed on the advertising and/or marketing materials for the Youth Book Publishing Contest includes editing services (two edit and revision opportunities), book cover recommendations, one (1) ISBN number provision, two (2) uploading opportunities to the KDP website (an affiliate of Amazon.com for publishing my book), where my book will be published by me, the contest winner). I understand the maximum amount for this support will be no more than $500 that is in the form of services, not cash paid by MichelleHardy.org, any and all persons performing editing services, KDP (an affiliate of Amazon.com for publishing my book). I understand the Youth Book Publishing Contest is limited to youth between the ages of 10 - 18 years of age.

HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT: By clicking the box above ("I understand the Youth Book Publishing Contest rules above and below). I and my parent and/or guardian listed above, hold harmless the following: MichelleHardy.org (The Michelle Hardy Organization Inc a 501(c)3 nonprofit Organization), it's officers, any and/or all persons performing editing services, KDP (an affiliate of Amazon.com for publishing my book).

If at any point, the Youth Book Publishing Contest winner and their parent and/or guardian do not agree with the 2023 Book Publishing Contest the process, they agree to operate through a mediator agreed upon by both MichelleHardy.org (The Michelle Hardy Organization Inc a 501(c)3 nonprofit Organization), it's officers, any and all persons performing editing services, KDP (an affiliate of Amazon.com for publishing my book). The Youth Book Publishing Contest Winner and their parent and/or guardian may elect to resolve any disagreements by not receiving the book publishing opportunity.
